so our summer has gotten off to a good start. we're in pryor, oklahoma working with some friends of ours at a country festival. so far things have been quite easy compared to other festivals we've worked with them. first, there's a permanent stage built out of concrete and i-beams (along with folding doors that enclose it when it's not being used) with loading docks on the sides which has made the first load-ins of the festival a breeze. second, our living accommodations are 50 yards away from the stage which allows for an easy commute in the morning and when we're done with work. third, and most importantly, is the unexpected and most coveted surprise of mobile phone service and wifi access. definitely not something we were expecting, it's kept us in touch with our lives back home. time to go.
